Excellence through Effort & Enjoyment
'Kind words, Kind deeds, Kind thoughts'

Wellbeing morning

We have spent the morning completing wellbeing activities.

This morning we focused on two themes, “we all have the right to feel safe all of the time” and “we can talk with someone about anything, even if it feels awful or small”.

The children really enjoyed circle time discussing feelings, safe places, trusted adults and what a good listener looks like.

We completed two written activities this morning. First the children worked in groups to draw early warning signs onto an outline of a body when feeling unsafe. Secondly they made a personal network (hand) where they wrote down their trusted adults and services they can call if anything is worrying them.

Finally we read a book call ‘The huge bag of worries’ by Virginia Ironside.
