Arts Award presentation Assembly - The Village Model Summit

We had a lovely Assembly this afternoon, celebrating the children's work on the Arts Award 'Village Model Summit', coordinated by The Mighty Creatives, who are a charity supported by Trinity College and the Arts Council.

The children worked with Sian Taylor - Watson for the day, working towards their Arts Award Discover. They learned all about her art form & Sian as an artist. They filled in their own booklets about the project, which were sent off to be marked by Sian and the Mighty Creatives.
The project looked at what the children thought was important about going to school & living in a village.

The children received their Arts Award Discover Certificates from Mrs James and Sophie from TMC presented us with our piece of artwork by glass & Perspex artist Sian Taylor - Watson, which included some of the children's original artwork.

We are very lucky to have been chosen by the Mighty Creatives for this project and are very proud of the work the children put in to it.
