Excellence through Effort & Enjoyment
'Kind words, Kind deeds, Kind thoughts'

Awards Friday 5th October

During Friday's assembly we celebrated special achievements, both within and outside school.

Phoebe, Jessica, Elsie, Amber and Keira all completed the Mischief Makers' summer reading challenge and proudly showed us their medals and certificates.

Jessica showed her amazing swimming award for 800m, everybody was very impressed and talked about how she had shown courage by achieving this.

Harry R showed his yellow belt from karate, another fantastic achievement.

Miss Croxford had prepared certificates for the children in Years 3 & 4 who represented the school at last week's football tournament.  They all showed great sportmanship and team spirit.

The class with the fewest '3s' this week, which earned some additional playtime, was Y2.

These children had a raffle ticket drawn from their class box and joined me on the top table, on Monday:

Reception: Brodie, Y1 Zilu, Y2 Harry, Y3 Lexi, Y4 Eve, Y5 Oliver, Y6 Georgia.

Winner of the House Points cup for this week: Cottesbrooke (on a winning streak!).

Tea party guests on Tuesday:

Reception Charlotte and Jowen, Y1 Elise and Caitlin, Y2 Jacob and Eve, Y3 Blair and Edward, Y4 Olivia and Lily, Y5 Anna and Sophia, Y6 Sriram and Hannah.

Well done to all of the children mentioned above.  We are very proud of you all.
