Excellence through Effort & Enjoyment
'Kind words, Kind deeds, Kind thoughts'

Christmas Fair arrangements

Hooray, the day is upon us!

The weather won't dampen our spirits.

We have plans in place to make collecting your children a little easier than last year.

Children in Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and KS2 siblings who are not helping on a stall will be in CLASS 5 when you arrive.

You need to come to the CLASS 5 CAR PARK DOOR where a member of staff will greet you.  You can collect your child/ren from there and staff will tick to indicate they have been collected.  Their belongings can be left in there until you are ready to go home.

Children in Year 3, 4, 5 or 6 who are not helping on a stall will be in CLASS 6 when you arrive.

The same arrangements apply.

Visitors who are not collecting children can come into school via the main entrance.

Stalls will be set up in the entrance area, hall, Reception and class 1, the key stage one library area (downstairs) plus classes 2, 3 and 4.

Santa's grotto will be in the usual area past class 3.  However, this year we have a cunning plan to prevent the bottleneck we have experienced in the past.  The access to the grotto will be from the playground, via the Y2/3 cloakroom area.  Some of Santa's little helpers will be there to help you find it so don't worry!  To make the wait more bearable, we will have some colouring activities for the little ones to do.  This year a visit to the grotto costs £2.50 and for an extra 50p your child can have a Christmas design painted on their cheek or hand by our talented face-painting reindeer!

I am really looking forward to welcoming you all to the school this afternoon for what promises to be the best ever fair!
