Welcome to the Governance page of Boughton Academy. At our primary academy, the Governing Body plays a crucial role in ensuring the school provides the best possible education for our students. Comprised of dedicated volunteers from various backgrounds, the Governing Body is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the school, overseeing its financial performance, and holding the Head Teacher to account.
At Boughton, we have a thriving Governing Body, chaired by Mrs. Karen Wilson. We typically meet as a full body twice every term, with a number of committees also in place to focus on the specific issues of finance, learning and achievement, health and safety, personnel, and audit.
