Swimming: Term 4 and 5

Swimming lessons will be starting after the half-term holiday. The following year groups will be going to lessons, provided by Aqualight at Barry Road, on these dates;

Year 6

Tuesday 25^th February; Tuesday 4^th March; Tuesday 11^th March

Year 4

Tuesday 18^th March; Tuesday 25^th March; Tuesday 1^st April; Tuesday 22^nd April

Year 5

Tuesday 29^th April; Tuesday 6^th May; Tuesday 13^th May; Tuesday 20^th May

 

These swimming lessons are a compulsory part of the curriculum and all children should attend. Please contact your child’s teacher if there is a reason why they are unable to participate.

Every child must bring a swim hat with them in order to participate in the lessons.

Children are encouraged NOT to wear goggles, as they need to experience water splashing their face and eyes as part of building water confidence. If there is a specific reason why your child needs goggles, please contact the class teacher.
